How it was shot (Gemma - WASPS)

This image was shot at the latest WASP (Wiltshire and Swindon Photographers) social gathering at the Goddard Arms in Old Town Swindon.

3 Yongnuo YN560 speedlights were used in conjunction with a Quadra head with all set at f5.6. The quadra was modified with a 40cm beauty dish and one speedlight with a blue gel. The other speedlights were just raw flash.

Shot by ©Andy Cubin of photographyworkshops just before everyone arrived. A great deal of perspiration and energy was expended to produce this stunning image, all in about 30 minutes.

If you want to know how to shoot images that WOW then please enrole on one of our workshops and have a great time with great people and fantastic models.

I enjoyed the day very much - says Viv

Viv, one of the delegates on the DSLR Supercharger workshop comments:

You (Andy and Terry) work well together and provided a good balanced day. The lunch provided at the Mayfield House Hotel was excellent.

Here is an image from the day, representing a considerable improvement from the images presented by Viv before the workshop, she has come a long way in just 1 day.
