Wedding Photography these days has become quite a saturated market, however there is no reason why, with the right training and creative mind-set, an outstanding living cannot be achieved, in other words be better than the rest.
The 2-day intensive workshop will take you through the business process including effective marketing, advertising, social networking right through to the end product of albums, prints, etc.
Terry will take you on a tour of his kit bag and explain the minimum equipment required for a successful wedding shoot.
You will be shown how to control your dedicated flash gun when used on camera (the worst place it could possibly be) through to off camera flash techniques, shooting remotely with radio triggers, supplied by Terry.
The workshop will include at least 4 shoots, each of which will have several locations producing plenty of images for your portfolio. Day one will start with a bride, and on day two there will be a bride and groom, where you get the opportunity to develop the "couples" shots.
There will be a session on the anatomy of a wedding photographer, including the planning required for the big day, as well as a detailed run through of the shooting, and protocols on the actual day.
There will be the opportunity to shoot inside a church with the low light associated with such a venue, shooting a bride, balancing the available light. You will be taken through the do’s and don’ts and protocols associated with working inside such a location.
Day 2 combines portfolio shooting, working with speedlights on location, finishing with digital workflow and the end product – ALBUMS.
This is a very intensive 2 day workshop for those with a good working knowledge of their camera.
