AIMS:
To teach both the principles of basic and intermediate studio portraiture combined with basic and intermediate lifestyle/location portraiture incorporating speedlights and available light, looking at composition and creative use of portable lighting equipment.
COURSE LENGTH:
The full course is optimised for 2 days with studio lighting on day 1 and location lighting with speedlights on day 2
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
DSLR and standard portrait lens around 130mm (based upon full size sensor) as well as a long focus lens around 200mm
A dedicated camera flash
Sufficient storage media for 2 days shooting
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
These course elements are aimed at intermediate to Licentiate level.
