I just wanted to say thank you for your time knowledge and experience during last weekends RPS course on Wedding Photography. I found it so beneficial on lots of different areas. Not only did you manage to drag my camera skills up a level or two but also your methodical approach to business has inspired me no end. I found your teaching style relaxed and informative and with your injection of humour and anecdotes you made the material easy to understand.

Would you please pass on my gratitude to Katie and Mark who’s seemingly never ending patience was remarkable in such arctic conditions! (Not to mention putting up with my ham fisted attempts to photograph them!).

Not surprisingly I would be extremely interested in hearing about the more advanced course you mentioned, would you please add me to, what I’m sure is, a growing list of participants.

Now all I have to do is buy the kit, think of a name for my business, find the client, plan my approach, find a style, build a portfolio and get some skill!

I found all aspects of the course useful, a good combination of practical information and experience, with some good photographic opportunities and ideas for photographing bride and groom. I also liked the overview of creative techniques as this is the area of my photography I feel I need to develop.

For me I found the course was just right for me. A good mix of practical advice, both for photography and workflow and business issues.

Terry, your level of tuition is clearly excellent. You managed the course with a calm manner that made everyone feel at ease with whatever photographic gear (and experience) we came with. At first, when I realised the course ran from 10.00am to 4.30pm with an hour for lunch I thought to myself that did’nt seem long, but after the two days I am sure you have the timing just right, I was quite surprised at how worn out I felt when I arrived home!

The course was very well presented with excellent
communication skills, backed up with practical demonstrations, tips and advice. I’ve come away with far more knowledge than I had when I arrived, particularly with regard to shooting in manual. Tips and advice on post production and sales were also very useful. I’m going to be spending a lot of time honing the new skills I’ve learned over the two days.
