Hollywood Portraits

The word “timeless” is used in many areas of photography but it is most apt when describing Hollywood Portraiture. With the abundance of period dramas on TV as well as numerous movies set in the era, the classic black and white movie star-style portrait, born in the 20s is now definitely back in vogue.
In this full-day course, we deconstruct Hollywood portraits, examining the equipment, sets and lighting used in the original photography and study how to replicate the look using modern equipment and post-production techniques.
With our stunning models, styled and dressed as a Hollywood Starlets, learn how to build simple and complex sets, light it like a movie and shoot fabulous Hollywood portraits that are absolutely timeless.
Limited to 10 photographers to ensure plenty of practical shooting with both models in all the sets, this is a packed-out day that will lift your photography to a higher level (as well as back in time!).
